臺灣生物資訊學研討會暨研習會是目前國內最大的生物資訊學活動，
全程採用英文，以增加國內、外學者間的互動。2013年將是第十一次舉辦此活動，
此會議將於今年10月18日至10月20日假陽明大學舉行，
將聘請國內外生物資訊與系統生物學方面的專家，讓學者及師生間的互動更密切，
也讓外賓瞭解國內的生物資訊學進展。

The Symposium of Bioinformatics and Systems Biology in Taiwan (BIT) was initiated by National Yang-Ming University in 2003 and has growth to become the leading and the largest annual bioinformatics conference in Taiwan. In 2008, the conference was held jointly with the International Conference on Bioinformatics (InCoB), which is the official conference of the Asia-Pacific Bioinformatics Network (APBioNet).
BIT provides a platform for researchers in Taiwan to interact with foreign and domestic experts in the fields of bioinformatics and systems biology. We hope to set up a stage for attracting scientists not only to increase their exposure to cutting edge technological and scientific advances but also for multilateral collaborations.
For BIT 2013, selected outstanding posters of each topic will be presented with the Excellent Poster Awards. Posters reporting on the latest research in all areas of bioinformatics and systems biology are sought. This year we added a new section on bioimaging and image analysis. Conference topics include, but are not limited to:

Poster abstracts are limited to 2 pages, including title, figures, tables, text, and references. Abstracts to BIT2013 must be submitted through the EasyChair conference system. Please see below for the formatting templates that must be used for submitted poster abstracts.
